Authenticity is Everything.
I frequently tell people how grateful I am for 26 letters and a handful of punctuation marks. Without them, I’m not really sure what I’d do for a living.
I love telling stories—I always have—but not just any stories. It’s unlikely that I’ll ever write a great piece of fiction. No, I love telling other people’s stories. Anyone who knows me knows I like to talk, but I also like to listen and ask questions and learn. It’s a total rush to help people connect the dots and see that their own, authentic narrative has been right there waiting for them the whole time; we just had to find it, together.
I’m so grateful to be able to lend my voice to so many amazing projects, both written and spoken, and the greatest honor in the world is to have so many people trust me with their words. If we’ve worked together in the past, thank you! If we haven’t, I hope we will, soon.
