The Strategy

Moriarty Meats was already a fixture in its Buffalo, NY neighborhood when Tom and Caitlin, the owners, came to us requesting a stronger brand presence—one built on their deep love for European specialty shops and the feeling of community they evoke. We crafted a story that shared their respect for the French style of butchery, their insistence on no waste, their deep love of food, and their desire to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for their customers. Little bits of French whimsy evoke the charm of the Old World without veering into “nobody gets it” territory.
